There are a number of sea fishing clubs to join around the Bristol Channel region and there are good resons to join. Thsese being organised boats trips, BCFSA shore matches, and a variety of activities and events like club barbecues etc. Regular trips are often organised, to places like the Channel Islands and Ireland. The competitions are hosted all over the region and prizes are awarded along with points, culmilating in a award ceremony. Joining a club, normally offers membership into the National Federation of Sea Anglers.
