Some local knowledge of this low water venue is important. Fishing is from sand and boulders onto sand and boulder patches. This ideal type ground does encourage the occasional larger specimen. It is a long walk, with the access to the beach via a climb down a rope but in the wanner summer months the gain can be well worth the effort.

Extreme caution is needed as the tide can cut off potential escape points.

Be aware of the quicksand patches.

Tide Range

Two hours either side of low water on small to medium tides. Bigger tides are too risky and will not give enough good fishing time.
